Jamie M. Monroe, M.D. Dr. Jamie Monroe is a board certified ophthalmologist with more than 20 years of experience. She performed a fellowship in cataract and glaucoma surgery at the University of Utah and has had positions at the University of Utah and Vanderbilt University training other eye surgeons. She performs a variety of surgical eye procedures and helps her patients choose the best solutions for their vision needs. Recent technologies give patients even more choices than before. Dr. Monroe is experienced with many technologies including:

- Laser Cataract Surgery and Custom Intraocular Lenses

Dr. Monroe has received numerous awards for her continued expertise and success in the field of Cataract and LASIK surgery. She was awarded Sightpath Medical Top Cataract Surgeon 2011 and 2012 and received The Laser Vision Gold Leading Refractive Surgeon Award in 2004. As Surgical Director at the Cataract & LASIK Center of Utah, Dr. Monroe performs more than 2000 eye surgeries annually. Her calm demeanor and precision in all aspects of surgery are values her patients appreciate. Dr, Monroe has a way of making you comfortable and assured before, during and after your surgical eye procedure. With all of her patients, she is committed to making sure they have the best experience possible while achieving excellent vision results. Dr. Monroe is based in Orem at the main surgical headquarters. She also provides Refractive Surgeries at centers in Vernal, Utah and Jackson, Wyoming.
Patricia A. Beaty, O.D. Dr. Patricia Beaty has been Clinical Director of the Cataract & Lasik Center of Utah since 1994 and practicing optometry for more than 19 years. Dr. Beaty graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1992. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a visiting lecturer at Brigham Young University. She recently served as President of the Utah Optometric Association, serving as Executive Vice President, Treasurer, and Trustee in previous years. Other career highlights include:

- Adjunct Professor for Southern College of Optometry
- Guest lecturer to pre-optometry students at Brigham Young University

Bhupendra Patel, M.D. Ophthalmic Plastic and Facial Cosmetic Surgery Dr. Bhupendra Patel’s expertise is in the management of disorders involving eyelids, periorbital tissues, lacrimal system and facial bones including fractures. He has designed and refined several instruments and surgical procedures including endoscopic brow lifts and endoscopic mid-face, lower face and neck lifts. His clinical research interests include thyroid disease, optic nerve disorders, orbital and eyelid tumors, blepharospasm, lacrimal surgery and facial cosmetic surgery. Dr. Patel attended medical school in Liverpool and London, England, and is a Professor of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences at the University of Utah School of Medicine.
